Since part of the assessment includes a review of a sampling of patient charts from each licensed clinician, the cost of the assessment is determined by the number of licensed therapists in the practice. The fee starts at $5,000 (plus travel expenses) for four or less clinicians and increases by $500 for each additional therapist. It is a comprehensive evaluation of practice operations which was developed over a course of years by a physical therapist who performed every staff position in private practice from front desk to billing, to clinician, to manager, to owner. It assesses clinical, administrative, billing, management and financial operations both on site and through in depth analysis of detailed reports.
At the clinic, of course! The only way to really assess the total operations and potential of a clinic is to experience it in person! However, due to these uncertain times where travel is restricted, partial assessments may be completed remotely.
It is somewhat dependent on the number of licensed therapists, however, usually it takes one to two days on site at the clinic, then two to three weeks until the Clinic Efficiency Assessment Analysis report is completed.
