Since part of the assessment includes a review of a sampling of patient charts from each licensed clinician, the cost of the assessment is determined by the number of licensed therapists in the practice.  The fee starts at $5,000 (plus travel expenses) for four or less clinicians and increases by $500 for each additional therapist.  Every one of our clients has said the Clinic Efficiency Assessment was a huge bargain considering all the time and effort spent on site, analyzing and composing the report. Medkita makes a guarantee that if we can't show you how you can make or save at least the cost of the CEA in one year, the Clinic Efficiency Assessment is free!

It is a comprehensive evaluation of practice operations which was developed over a course of years by a physical therapist who performed every staff position in private practice from front desk to billing, to clinician, to manager, to owner.  It assesses clinical, administrative, billing, management and financial operations both on site and through in depth analysis of detailed reports.

At the clinic, of course!  The only way to really assess the total operations and potential of a clinic is to experience it in person!  However, due to these uncertain times where travel is restricted, partial assessments may be completed remotely.

It is somewhat dependent on the number of licensed therapists, however, usually it takes one to two days on site at the clinic, then two to three weeks until the Clinic Efficiency Assessment Analysis report is completed.

Medkita employs only licensed physical therapists to perform the Clinic Efficiency Assessments since, really, they’re the people who can talk the talk and walk the walk!

Medkita will provide the practice with a comprehensive Clinic Efficiency Assessment Analysis report which will outline the potential revenue opportunities and Medkita’s recommendations.  At that point, the first contract with Medkita is concluded.  The practice then has the option to engage in another contract with Medkita to help them implement the strategies to take their practice to the next level, but there is absolutely no obligation.  (FYI – 88% of the clinics who contracted with Medkita to perform Clinic Efficiency Assessments engaged Medkita for the second, Implementation Contract).

Typically, the contract is for two years.  The goal is to teach the practice to operate their clinic(s) efficiently and with the resources they have.  Medkita believes in the old proverb:  “Catch a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime”.

The fee is dependent on the services that the practice needs and wants.  Medkita will charge a reasonable flat fee to provide the initial training and implementation and after that, Medkita will receive a percentage of the increase in profits.  So, after the first 12 months, Medkita will only make money if the practice makes more money than before engaging Medkita.  It’s a win-win for everyone!
